Terms of Service.

Meridian Prep ("Meridian", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Sentient Systems LLC, owned by Jon Gill. By creating an account or using the service, you are entering into an agreement with Sentient Systems LLC.

By creating an account or using Meridian, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf. If you're using Meridian on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from account settings; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy below.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order. Refunds are processed by Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or email support@refinetrade.app.

Don't reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or attempt to disrupt the service. Don't share copyrighted content you don't own. Don't use Meridian to cheat on official exams or to facilitate academic dishonesty. Don't probe, scan, or attempt to breach security. Don't use Meridian to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content.

Practice questions, explanations, analytics, software, and branding are owned by Sentient Systems LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them while your subscription is active. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service.

Meridian helps students prepare for the SAT. We don't guarantee any specific score, college admission, or other outcome.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentient Systems LLC's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where excluding such liability is unlawful.

You agree to indemnify Sentient Systems LLC against claims arising from your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may close your account anytime from settings. On termination, your access ends and your data is handled per our Privacy Notice.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via the service or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
