Meridian Prep is operated by Sentient Systems LLC, owned by Jon Gill ("we", "us"). For the personal data described below, Sentient Systems LLC acts as the data controller.

To run the service (serve practice, track progress, generate analytics, send transactional emails), to improve the product (aggregate, anonymized analysis), to provide support, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to send account, billing, and security notices. Legal bases: performance of contract, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation.

• Service providers: hosting, database, email, analytics.
• Paddle.com Market Limited (Merchant of Record): processes payments, manages subscriptions, handles tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
• Professional advisers: legal, accounting, where necessary.
• Authorities: if legally compelled.

We don't sell your data. We don't share individual practice data with third parties for advertising. We don't train external AI models on your private practice history.

We're based in the United States. If you're in the UK or EEA, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime from settings, which removes your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized aggregates may persist. Records we're legally required to retain (e.g., tax records via Paddle) are kept for the required period.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@refinetrade.app. We'll respond within 30 days. UK and EEA users have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; we'll notify affected users of any qualifying breach.

We use cookies for authentication and basic, first-party analytics. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Meridian is intended for users 13+. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should consent on your behalf.
